i agree with what the guy in this video is saying. technology has really taken off in the last couple of years, and the problem with that is people are adapting to it and nothing ever seems to be good enough. No matter how high tech thing will get there will always be people that are unhappy and ungrateful, its just the way people are now and days.

Project Design Skills:
-What did you do with the overall development of the design and creation of the haunted house?  Explain your role in this project.
I didnt really help out with the putting together of the haunted house. When everyone was putting it together I was making the posters and hanging them up around the school. After that, Kyle and I made signs directing where the haunted house was.

Identifying and Dealing with barriers:
-What barriers did you face in this project?  Were there moments when you felt a certain way about something difficult?  Were they personal barriers, or barriers someone else created? How did you identify these barriers? How did you get over these 'barriers' to become successful in what you were doing? Did you overcome barriers, or let someone else take care of it
I personally didnt really have any barriers to overcome, the only thing i had a problem with was when I spelt entrance wrong on the "welcome to the haunted house" poster that went on the door to the gym. so i turned the "trance" into an arrow so it said "enter" instead of "enterance".

Interpersonal Skills: -This was a project involving 27 individuals, all with their own ideas, personalities, etc.  How did you use your interpersonal skills (ability to relate to others) to work with members of your group/entire class?
for the most part i kept quiet in my group when we were thinking of ideas and such. when it came to setting up i was in the library working on the posters. the only time i contributed to my group was cleaning up because i owed my group for all the hard work they did to set it up.
Understanding & Working with Diversity:
-This sort of ties into the interpersonal skills, but what elements of "diversity" were present during this project?  How did you attempt to understand the diversity within our class, and what did you do to work with these differences?
whenever someone offered an idea of theirs even if i didnt like it i usually say its a good one and try to make it work. i dont really voice my opinions so i cant shut other peoples down. i usually support them and say theyre good.
Leadership Skills:
-What leadership skills (we made a huge list at the start of this course) did you use?  Identify and explain at least 3 skills you used during this project.
i dont have my notes with me becuase they are in class but i will just say three skills that a leader has that i used. I was determined, i knewi had to get the posters done and i focused and did my best on them. indapendant, i worked by myself for the most part but in a way i think i worked better by myself and it ended up in me getting ym work done which contributed to the overall group project. last one is attentive, i listened to mr t on what to do and any suggestions he had on the posters.
Personal Management Skills:
-How did you manage yourself during this project?  Did you identify the areas that you were struggling with?  Did you work the hardest you possibly could?  Did you need refocusing or the help of others to complete tasks?  Could you have improved at anything?
I probably could have worked a little harder, theres always room for improvment. I needed help from others when i was doing the big posters that were directing people to the haunted house becuase we were running out of time and they needed to be up before lunch.
Self-Assessment Skills:
-Overall, how do you feel you did here?  If you were to give yourself a mark out of 20, what would you give yourself and why?
I think I did a good job. Since my group didnt need my help i was able to find something new to do independantly which was the posters. i would give myself a 15 out of 20 because when it comes to group work i usually dont do to much but this time i worked hard on the posters and feel i did a good job.
Now, you guys don't get a lot of homework, but I know you work hard.  This is just an important part of the process in leadership learning.  Taking the time to take stock of what you did, how you did, and if you would change anything.

1. To actually do something for the school I think is just helping out with events and stuff that we do. It doesnt have to be anything the big, if there werent people doing the little things events around the school wouldnt turn out as well as they do.
2. Yes I believe I do, I feel like since i'm older they should respect my age group more and almost kind of look up to us. Thats not how it is though, some of the grade nines are scared and afriad still but others think they run the school and act like they are the shit.
3. I think i have done a decent job so far but there is more i can do for sure.
4. my shyness is the only thing that is holding me back, i need to be more outgoing
5. I agree with the statement, but only certain kinds deserve to be respected I think. The ones that are going to be rude dont deserve to be respected.
